Ursula's Crow
This must have been recorded before the O's were locked down in Queensland. I remember them popping up on the Duncairn's virtual cabaret... a long way from north Belfast.

about
Ode to the Countryside.
This track was written and recorded in one day on Jack's solar powered recording studio outside of Brisbane.
"We arrived in Jack's solar powered recording studio on the 14th of March. We had only met him once, in a dive bar, when we were 18 in London. It was an open mic, and it was Jack's birthday. He never played, he just listened at the bar with a drink. We stayed after closing time and the barman begged him to play a song before he locked the doors. He walked slowly up to the stage and sat down with his guitar. The five people left in the room were completely stunned, his voice was staggering. An echo of Johnny Cash with the lonely sadness of Johnnie Basho. We met up 4 years later and decided to spend a day at his studio. This is the song we sat down and made together, over a few cups of tea, a broken barbecue and a couple of SM57's."
